Believe In Your S.E.L.F.

Looking back, from the time I started recording my thoughts, views and daily lives into videos, I've grown so much. 

Actually from day one that was 12+ years ago when I started sharing my journey with my Indian husband online, I've transformed head to toe. 

In fact from the time when I first had internet and started blogging and writing, no matter what language, I've walked so far. 

Over the years, I'd been beaten to bruises, I'd been broken to pieces, I'd been burned to ashes. 

But at the end of the day, I've always found my strength somehow, somewhere, and kept walking my own path, headstrongly. 

If you ask me what's the most important thing I've learned in my journey. 

I would proudly tell you: no matter how they hurt you, demean you, dismiss you, even they're your most beloved. 

Just believe in what you think is right and keep walking. 

Because that confidence inside of you, nothing is shinier and more glamorous than that, in the whole universe!

Why nailed me as a piece of countering-free-world propaganda and brainwashing material? 

1. "She is a woman, women's behavior should be within a certain frame and limit. The worst scenario is that our good Chinese women running away to be the reproduction tool of evil foreign men. All there is to women is pleasure tool and species continuation";

Welcome to witness the Momo Zheng who lives in a parallel universe: born in a poor family, but smart and studied hard, got into Xiamen University, Finance department. Got a job in China, business traveled to India, met Raj for the first time. In a year Raj traveled to Xiamen to meet again. Both fell in love. Against all of Momo's friends and family's will (because India is extremely poor and backward), she eloped with Raj to India. Only to find out Raj already had 2 extremely beautiful and good-body-shaped (big boobs big asses) Indian wives at home, and a bunch of sons already produced. But Momo didn't mind, she just loved Raj so much, with all the cells in her body, she just wanted to be Raj's concubine (my pronunciation: cucumber)... bla bla bla... 

Oh eventually Momo was so brainwashed and she started to enjoy the bad air and pollution and all that nasty stuff in India, her life can't live without it. She even said India is the best country in the whole world. She loved Indian trains that crawled with millions of people, even the roof was filled with people, she loved Indian slums, and she defended the Indian caste system because she enjoyed using illegal child laborers, she thought she gave them jobs and fed them. 

And she even wrote online and started to defame her own motherland. That's why a Xiamen University graduated, eventually she got physically abused and dumped by her Indian husband and mother-in-law. 

When she was running away from filthy India, she got rejected at the Chinese border and sent back to India to continue enjoying her concubine (my pronunciation: cucumber) life. Because she forgot how to love her motherland - China, and she lost the qualification to be a Chinese anymore.

My Reply: Thank you S! My dad did go to a lawyer in China, just to ask, the lawyers' office said they can't do anything. There might be a law (or not) relating to this, but nobody is doing it because it's against propaganda and brainwashing. It's kind of political (because it's relating to the image of India, in current China, the image of India should be bad, bad Indian image is politically right, the government is behind it), nobody would do anything if it's anything remotely political. All there should exist in society is persecution and public shaming.

Behind such violence, it's all about fabricated dreadful stories and fake accusations. It's about ordinary citizens who lack the basic fundamental rights to think and speak freely, and possess no means to protect their rights. 

I guess when you are in an environment that is filled with fraud news and provocation for hatred, it's hard for the people to understand what's right and what's wrong, what to believe and what's fake. It's even darn hard for a lot of them to keep their last bit of humanity intact, soaking in constant and a ginormous amount of brainwashing content of hatred and violence. 

A lot of people told me: "They (pinks and trolls) hate you because you criticize them, and you should criticize the government but not the common people." I was like:" Hold up hold up, who said I was criticizing anyone or anything publicly? Ever? Do I dare?" 

What I did for 12 years in Chinese social media was to introduce my authentic multicultural life, introduce India from all aspects: Indian people, Indian customs, Indian culture, Indian history, Indian travels etc... and I maintained an objective tone, I said things as I saw it and felt it, I didn't easily take sides. At least I'd tried very hard to, playing by the rules, however, the rules kept changing and straitening without warning signs. 

And I was THE only person who dared to use my real name and real stories to show the connection with India. Well, I guess the majority of people who dared not to use their real names and faces, understood China more than me. 

And look where I'm now. 

I said this many times and I will say it whenever needed: what happened to me and happened to the whole generation of Chinese who once existed in Weibo, has nothing to do with what we said and what we haven't said. As long as you dare to make different choices in life, different from what the propaganda machine propagates, in my case, so outrageously out-of-line as to marry an Indian who is by default discriminated and detested against by the state and the people under its control; as long as you dare to make one line of commentary that doesn't come from the propaganda directory, just one line. 

You will surely have the same fate as all of us.
